S. Michael Everett, MAI

S. Michael Everett has been involved in the appraisal profession since 1975. His experience is primarily in appraising industrial, commercial, special purpose and institutional properties for sale or purchase, financing, tax appeal and estate purposes. Prior to forming Everett, Benfield LLC with Ronald W. Benfield in 1992, Mr. Everett held positions as Vice President and Senior Staff Appraiser at area appraisal firms, financial institutions and the Maryland State Department of Assessments and Taxation. Mr. Everett has qualified as an expert witness before the Harford County Zoning Examiner, the Maryland State Court of Tax Appeals, and the Federal Bankruptcy Court. A graduate of the University of Maryland, Mr. Everett has attained the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute and is licensed by the State of Maryland as a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser. A lifelong Harford County resident, Mr. Everett is active in numerous social and volunteer organizations serving the County.
